Recently I was hired for a new job and my very first task was a considerably big undertaking for an entirely new feature of the application. I felt a bit overwhelmed, and was considering asking for something simpler like bug fixes so I could get familiar with the code first, but ultimately decided that I could make a better impression and a bigger impact with this project.

After reading this, I suppose I can say that I was considering asking for a snack, so I'm glad I chose to stick with the new feature. I just hope I actually pull it off.
