I’m an old guy. I have 20+ years on me as an IC and am going through interviews. I have or have had a total of 20 interviews.
I can honestly say I don’t feel any ageism. I do feel like the interview process is getting harder and harder though from an expectations perspective. I’m not sure if that’s unconscious ageism but I think it’s more that people’s expectations for perfection have increased.
